Mackenzy Mackay heeft zijn nieuwe single Want You For Life uitgebracht. Hij schreef de track voor zijn vroegere klasgenootje, zijn huidige partner.
Op school durfde Mackenzy nooit een move te maken, maar toen hij jaren later terugkeerde uit het buitenland, sloeg alsnog de vonk over. Mackenzy: Want You For Life is a song I wrote about falling in love when you’re younger, but it was just never the right time. But years later it all works out just right and you realise it was all for the best in the end.
De Britse singer-songwriter uit Yorkshire brak in 2022 door en werd dit jaar door BBC Radio 1 genoemd als 2025 One To Watch. De afgelopen maanden was hij op tour door de VS en Europa. Op 22 juni staat Mackenzy Mackay op Pinkpop.
