Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard komt uit Cardiff en maakt muziek met een knipoog naar de 70s. Qua sound doen ze denken aan o.a. The Darkness, T-Rex en John Lennon.
In Engeland begint het viertal al behoorlijk te buzzen. De groep, die hun carrière begon in de slaapkamer van frontman/gitarist Tom Rees, is intussen getekend door Communion, het label dat ook aan de wieg stond van het succes van o.a. Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Howard, Bear’s Den en Catfish and the Bottlemen.
Op 10 juli komt Non-Stop uit en tegelijk met de aankondiging die ze deden, heeft de band ook de nieuwe track Hollywood Actors gedeeld.
Tom Rees zegt hierover: It’s probably the most ‘rock’ song I’ve written. Lyrically it stemmed from this habitual thing I keep doing when watching films, where I suddenly realise that everybody in the film is just acting, and the whole film becomes completely surreal and you realise how mental the film industry is. I started applying that perspective in everyday life and the similarities were haunting, I felt like everyone around me was acting!
