Video: Hinds - Coffee

De Spaanse band Hinds heeft hun nieuwe single Coffee uitgebracht. Het is het eerste werk sinds vier jaar. In deze voorbije periode is Hinds van viertal weer teruggebracht naar het originele duo bestaande uit Carlotta Cosials en Ana Perrote.
Over Coffee zegt Hinds:
“Coffee is a sincericide, screaming the nasty truth as loud as you can with no shame. It’s about admitting to all the things you’re not supposed to like or doing all the things you’re not meant to do. It’s a lot of fun when you can be fully honest and shut that little voice in your head that tells you what you should or shouldn’t do.”
Voor het aankomende album zijn ze de samenwerking aangegaan met producer Pete Robertson (The Vaccines, beabadoobee) en mixer Caesar Edmunds (Wet Leg, The Killers).
Als tweetal luiden ze een fris en versterkt tijdperk in, maar nog altijd met hun kenmerkende dubbelzang, heldere en speelse melodieën en krachtige thema’s waardoor een generatie jonge luisteraars sinds 2014 wordt geïnspireerd.
