Een ode en aanklacht aan de federatie van 50 staten deze ZUBBday. Onder Nederlandse vlag werd Nieuw Amsterdam gesticht in 1609 door de ingehuurde Engelse kapitein Hudson. Het land dat een stuk aantrekkelijker zou zijn geweest als het bij de vredesonderhandelingen van 1672 niet overgedragen zou zijn aan de Engelsen. De wereldmacht in verval is een dankbaar thema voor een hoop muzikanten en zo ook voor onze wekelijkse mixtape.
